THIS IS GOING TO BE one of those lengthy incoherent “slap it on the wall and hope it sticks” kinda posts, because I really truly have a ton of shit to spill, but unfortunately (god I despise that word) the “real world” keeps knocking, derailing me from revealing the secret of life itself, the rise of the fire hydrants, my insanely petty and self serving plans for global domination, ah, the secret of, you know. Whatever. Man. I’m wicked fucking busy. But if I left the previous post stand alone any longer, people will think I’m on Michael Gira’s payroll, while the list of shit TO POST gets longer every second. So I’ll be zooming in and out all day. Mad! Random! Unscripted! It’ll suck! And I’ll probably delete it by midnight! We’ll see!

DOOMTROOPERS, the “new” online weekly serial.
Damn, that is an outstanding illustration, isn’t it?! Paul DiNovo created it for me in the spring of 2003, and it still stuns, does it not?! Paul designed my logo, too. Not the sun-thing. I did that. Paul did the masthead. Anyway. Paul DID THIS:

DOOMTROOPERS is a book I completed “some time ago,” and after much hair-pulling and soul-searching, I’ve decided to run it as a Free Weekly Online Serial. Ten chapters. Ten weeks. Updated every SUNDAY MORNING. Yes like the comics. (My daughter’s into the hardcopy Sunday Comics, god bless her, she may stay.) Posting new episodes on a weekly basis will be a minimum of stress, no heartache—as it is finished and all—just some minor concerns about the art for every chapter/episode, but I think I’ve got that knocked…
This isn’t the official launch; the site itself requires some behind-the-scenes tweaks. Tightening the light bulbs, crap like that. Officially the doors will open this weekend. But you can take it for a test-drive @ DOOMTROOPERS. More on this, later.
