Claire Massey, Editor of NEW FAIRY TALES, says,
“We are currently seeking submissions for our fifth issue. We are looking for new fairy tales in short story format (max 3000 words), and in other formats such as poetry, flash fiction and comic strip. We welcome works inspired by a love of traditional tales but we are not looking for retellings or reimaginings. Show us what you think a new fairy tale can be.”

Drax says: It’s a sharp-looking online magazine made with evident love and care. Illustrations, audio versions of selected tales, more. The magazine is free, but any donations received go to a worthy cause: “Raising money for Derian House Children’s Hospice, which is based in North West England. They provide specialist care and support for children with a terminal or life threatening illness.”

What a lovely magazine! i am intrigued.
Hi Drax, It’s wonderful to be referred to as a goddess. Thank you for the compliment. I enjoyed looking at the magazine, the art as well as the stories. Who knows what my mind may work on in the coming month. If it’s a fairy tale, I’ll be sure to submit it.
